Kickers

Kickers have a terrible job. They are expected to make each field goal they take whether it's a chip shot or a 50-yarder. Rarely, do they get recognition for hitting the winning field goal and are usually "infamous" for missing the potential go-ahead or game winner.

Today was a tough day to be a kicker. Stanford and Georgia's kicker each missed potential game winners.

Buying a Suit

During my college baseball career we had a saying, "look good, feel good, play good". Maybe it was true and maybe it was used to try and get more free gear. Looking good builds confidence and a sense of professionalism.

I don't know if it's growing up, a feeling of independence, or just looking nice but there's something about wearing a suit that I honestly enjoy. Prior to my business career I owned one suit and would estimate I had worn it less than ten times in my life.

Here are a few tips to remember when purchasing your first suit:
1. Go Traditional - A common mistake is buying a suit that stands out. A friend of mine had a pinstripe suit and unfortunately it was his only one. It was noticed throughout the office because it stood out. I would recommend purchasing an all black piece.
2. Pay a little extra - Unfortunately, cheap suits do not last as long
3. Fitting - Suits are meant to be form fitting. Baggy is not a good look
4. Buy a Lent Roller - It's no secret - a suit picks up lent. Use a lent roller before you leave the house
5. Hang it up - At the end of the day it's easy the throw your pants and jacket on the couch and forget about it. Hanging it up keeps the longevity of the suit
